The Campus Diplomats
The Campus Diplomats serve as the Official Ambassadors to the Dean of Students at the University of Florida. We work to personalize each student's UF experience through inclusive programs, outreach, and service. The Campus Diplomats strive to connect underrepresented populations on our campus to the many resources provided by the Dean of Students Office such as the Field and Fork Pantry, the Gator Career Closet, New Student and Family Programs, the Collegiate Veterans Success Center, Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution, the Care Team, and the U Matter We Care Campaign.
ASTRA
ASTRA (Ability Service Training Responsibility Achievement)
ASTRA is a service organization based in the Business College, but welcomes all majors. We participate in service projects such as Ronald McDonald House, Project Makeover, Bread of the Mighty, and March of Dimes. This way we can help the local Gainesville community, a high need area, that may be overlooked for broader issues. Members can also explore their passions/interests through the variety of events we offer.
Disability Resource Center
The Disability Resource Center, as a component of Student Affairs at UF, focuses on ensuring the success of our students by providing individualized academic and social services. We focus on empowering our students with disabilities so that they feel confident enough to engage in self-advocacy throughout their lives. By providing resources in note-services, testing, and assistive technology, our students feel comfortable to access their full academic and professional potential.
